Just so you know, my like is for the photos. Of course I’ve become a regular so you would have figured that out.

As you say, everyone likes quotes by a boy or a girl. Here's a boy quote, easy enough to look up:

Everything dies, baby, that's a fact.

Everything that dies, someday comes back.

Keep that in mind, George. The moral? Don't ever turn your back.

First part is ok, second hard to believe, who’s the boy, and the girl

"Atlantic City" is the song, Springsteen the boy.

Can’t lie it’s because I’m a mother that I checked in yesterday but I did appreciate your photos.

Today I read through - and even knowing the genesis of the Andy Warhol quote (I was invited to a Factory party in 1969) the entire story here was deeper in facts.

Thanks Patris. I appreciate your comments (facts too). Just I was curious about that (guess the title 🤔). A party in the Factory, that must have been a great fun. I tried to visit the remain of the factory years ago but didn’t find it

The boy/artist/later good friend came to the apartment to take me. He was friends with Rothko and other names everyone knew then).

My boyfriend at the time (husband now) just said “NO” - which outraged me and surprised the boy (he was 20, I was 19) (he’s now a retired attorney)When he asked why, hard to believe, my boyfriend said something like ‘she belongs to me that’s why’ - which caused a major argument right there with me. Still does.

So - I didn’t go, even though we spent time at other artists lofts, my husband now defends that remark by saying he was protecting me (ha).

Interesting story. You missed a party in the factory but perhaps that made you happy the rest of your life. I never had a good idea about the Warhol shooting, but I know now a bit better through that link.
