Nostalgia

True nostalgia is probably about what we never behold.

I took this photograph yesterday because that script caught my eye: CelebrityXCruisers, but at the end it has a real point with this story…

Nostalgia is not missing what we once had and enjoyed. It is actually not about missing.

Nostalgia is a feeling inside, not attached to things or places or people.

It is just about ourselves. We want to be where (emotionally) once we were.

For example, photography enthusiasts are now using film with fervor, not because they want to bring back a past they never lived; they were born in the digital era.

We can wonder why. And besides that current boosting them in that direction, the real answer can be probably found inside themselves…

What is nostalgia? Probably time gets dirty the glass we see things through…

These departure photos are significant in that sense. What are we letting back?

But the real point is what’s what we miss at the end?
