Beyond limits
Two or three years ago I bought several CMS 20 II PRO rolls of 35 mm film to give it a try.
This film is virtually grain less, remembering me those first rolls I used ages ago, the Kodak technical Pan, at the beginning of my photography track.
CMS 20 equally requires a special developer, Adotech, which was finished with my last two Futuremat rolls ( see here Futuremat 3.0).
I decided to shoot the last remaining CMS 20 roll to conventionally develop it with Kodak D76. I did it once already and result was ultra contrasty that time and somehow interesting.
Film roll prices, as most of you know, are astronomical since after the pandemic…
Yes, I’ll keep on shooting film (see my last purchase Photocontamination), but only with ordinary stuff. I.e. just affordable rolls, as far as I can find them.
Let see how this roll will come out now…
That film needs to be shot at least at 20 ISO. Not many automatic exposure cameras reach that low, but I used this time the fantastic Canon IV Sb (A camera review). 100 % manual. Sunny 16 exposure…
And it worked sooo goood…
Look,
I love this picture, just amazing…
This film with this development is ultra high contrasty. Still shadows remain but highlights are simply washed out.
Fantastic texture here
Overexposed?, yeah, but see what it got out
Look at this, uniform tones returned this so special picture
Another beautiful shot! well balanced tones in here
Intriguing perhaps
Look at this sea, … incredible
